London South East Colleges, in South East London is an award-winning further education college, and has eight campuses across the area. Education has a hugely positive impact on peoples’ lives and they are determined to make a difference to their local communities, through high quality teaching and learning.
We have helped LSEC Bromley in multiple ways:
This final one, a bricklaying course, is simply not possible in a normal classroom. Not only do bricks weigh a lot, getting them in (via forklift) and out (after dismantling the construction) would be difficult and time-consuming. We work with a wide range of businesses in the construction sector and education sector, so this requirement was not unusual for our team.
Trafalgar provided two temporary structures that were positioned behind the tech block, in a parking area that wasn’t extensively used.
The structures were accessible through both ends, with minimum clearance in excess of 2.7 metres, allowing forklifts in and out with pallets of bricks, sand and cement. LED Lighting was installed so classes can still take place in the winter, or if the weather isn’t great. We also conduct monthly health and safety inspections to ensure everything is as it should be.
Other marquees and furniture have been provided to the Bromley college since 2020, particularly to help the college deal with the pandemic.
Their bricklaying students were able to practice their skills whatever the weather.
Students were able to gather to discuss their classes, and simply socialise, without getting wet but still following social guidance rules
We’ve continued to work with London South East Colleges providing a range of temporary structures for a variety of requirements across their campuses in South East London, do get in touch if you’re looking for a temporary structure in London or beyond, call us on 01932 620 060.
